I Am An Open Book

I am an open book
and it is an epic volume

There is much that has been written
and many blank pages on which to write

I learn from the past,
I live in the present
I look forward to the future

I say what I feel and feel what I mean

I am not perfect
I am not good
I am not bad

I strive for balance
My many facets define me a person
and I am happy with that person.

because to me, that is ultimately what it is all about

I live my live with each day new
my pathways are many with a multitude of detours

I make choices and live with my decision
I make mistakes use them to learn
I have my lines and I don’t cross them

my lines are the shapes that mold me

in a magnificent tapestry of rich texture and color

my life is an adventure of epic extreme
I live I breath
I love I despise
I share I care
I think I play

I learn I grow
and as I grow I shrink

in the vast unknowing aethyr that is universal life
I give from my heart
my heart receives
What is trash to one person
is treasure to another
it’s all about perspective

I stay true to me
and by being true to me
I can then be true to you
